The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to begin their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to go next after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose death initiated the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then paid off his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to execute the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which characters will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
